When I was about five, I thought that butterflies were what moths looked like in the daytime. One day my mom told me that moths would eat my clothes - and I thought she meant while I was wearing them. Being five, I extrapolated that moths / butterflies must have huge teeth with which to chomp through my clothes, and they might not stop eating once they'd gotten through my sweater.

I have no fear of spiders or bugs of any other variety. I love snakes, and have actually learned to scuba dive specifically so that I can swim with sharks. I'm okay with heights and I love flying, especially in small private planes, and riding motorcycles. I'm generally not a fearful person.
